Overview

ShiftStackApp respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we will respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with applicable law.

How to Submit a Takedown Notice

If you believe that content on a website deployed through ShiftStackApp infringes your copyright, send a written notice to [email protected] containing:

  1. Your contact information — full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work — describe the work you claim has been infringed
  3. URL of the infringing content — provide the specific URL where the infringing material is located
  4. Statement of good faith — a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  5. Statement of accuracy — a statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf
  6. Your signature — your physical or electronic signature

Response Time

We aim to respond to all valid DMCA notices within 48 hours. Upon receiving a valid notice, we will investigate and, if appropriate, remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content.

Counter-Notice Procedure

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice to [email protected] containing:

  1. Your contact information
  2. Identification of the removed content and its former URL
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the content was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
  4. Your consent to jurisdiction of your local federal court
  5. Your signature

Repeat Infringer Policy

ShiftStackApp maintains a policy of terminating accounts of users who are repeat infringers of copyright. A user whose account is terminated for repeat infringement is not entitled to a refund of any fees paid.
